Deep breath
Like so many, 2023 ended with the closing of another chapter in my career, and even with its ups and downs, I’m nothing but grateful for the experience.
So 2024 opens with an opportunity to switch things up.
As some may know, after spending the first 10+ years as a creative, I made a jump to the production side. While I enjoyed the strategy, the concepting, and the overall creative process, what really got me excited was bringing “the thing” to life. Thanks to a close friend, and former production partner, I was able to quickly jump into a facet of the business that had always been a big part of why I loved it.
But this wasn’t just the typical ad production (photos, video, etc.), it was the world of experiential and event marketing. It was creating memorable, real-life activations that connected consumers to the brand. While I had some knowledge the medium, this was my first real hands-on experience with it, and it was awesome. What made it even better was being able to leverage all I’d learned from my time as a creative. It was a different kind of problem solving, and I was able to see it from multiple angles.
Then COVID hit, and gathering large groups was a no-no. Things went virtual, but there was not always enough work to go around. There’s uncertainty everywhere, and you’re about to add a second kid to the mix. So you do what you gotta do. Luckily for me that just meant stepping back to the creative side.
The world opened back up, life moved on, and now I’ve got another chance to hop back in and make this change something more permanent. And here’s where I need your help.
I’m currently on the lookout for associate to mid-level producer roles at experiential marketing agencies, ad agencies with experiential production departments, and PR agencies with activation/events production teams. Full-time positions are preferred, but wouldn’t let that stand in the way of the right opportunity.
What do I have to offer? How about in-depth knowledge of the creative and production processes. Expertise in managing client, internal and external team relationships. Proficiency in executing across a variety of budgets and timelines. And, most importantly, an aptitude for problem-solving, paired with meticulous attention to detail.
So if you're at the type of place I mentioned above with openings, know an EP or HOP willing to chat for 15 minutes, or even know someone who’s made this type of transition before — I’d love to connect.

TL:DR…I’m pivoting from the creative side of the ad world to producing experiential and event marketing. I’m looking for associate to mid-level producer roles. Know anyone worth talking to?
