Do you need freelance expertise or capacity to help with external affairs projects, particularly public policy, research or insight gathering? I've been making exciting plans this week with Homeless Link in my new associate role but I still have some further capacity for charity projects over the summer, particularly August but some in July too.

When I was working in-house I'd be thinking right now about the General Election (new MPs, new govt, new opportunities/threats), wrestling with budgets and plans for 2023-24, and feeling energised and stressed trying to get ahead of the game for autumn. If this is you I can help with work including:

💰 Demonstrating your policy asks or your effectiveness as an organisation to funders, sponsors and supporters through new research/evaluation.

⛑ Taking opportunities and minimising threats to your work posed by new policies/laws or issues on the horizon.

📋 Making the most of your current or future investment in external affairs work with solid plans that can help you define and prioritise the work of your team/s. I got to do a fascinating project like this at the start of 2024, helping an organisation to turn its very technical, data-focused work into practical briefings and asks for policymakers.

If you're at any stage of the above drop me a message or email [email protected]
