At BOXT I’ve been focusing more on quant data & experimentation recently. We’ve onboarded 2 shiny new tools to help with customer behaviour analysis and AB testing on our website (Contentsquare and AB Tasty/Flagship).

I’m now looking for a mid-weight “Optimisation Specialist” to help us out.

You’d be working with me to analyse our current customer journey and design/develop experiments (client & server side). Most call it CRO. We’re calling it CXO, as there is an equal focus on improving the UX as there is improving the conversion rate/revenue.

This is more of a product focussed role than a marketing one, and as such you’d be working with Product Owners, Designers, Developers, and Data analysts on a regular basis.

I’m looking for someone that…

  • Has at least 2 years experience in an experimentation role
  • Has a good knowledge experimentation principles (insight, hypothesis, test, analyse, iterate/ship)
  • Has experience analysing customer behaviour in an analytics tool
  • Has experience working with Designers and Developers
  • Understands good design - you know at least a bit about design principles, usability, and accessibility
  • Can jump into a design tool when needed, to mock up designs for tests
  • Understands the high level make-up of a digital product - we've got ambitions for exciting server side experiments so you need to understand this conceptually (Front-end, backend, APIs etc)
  • Ability in HTML/CSS & JS gets you extra points
  • Experience in e-commerce is a bonus

Hopefully I haven’t just described a unicorn that doesn’t exist.

DM me if you’re interested or know anyone that is. Cheers!
