Fantastic to meet the WEX team at WEX Spark 2024 this week in Orlando!

Fleets everywhere are electrifying, and WEX's 18 million fleet drivers are at the heart of the process. Every fleet that electrifies should be powered by greenest, cheapest electrons and will be supplied by energy delivered by our many utility partners. Working with WEX, we are excited to be helping every fleet save tonnes of money whilst charging, by accessing the best energy on the grid.

Thanks to Bob Mallon, Carlos Carriedo, Adam Woolway and Jay Collins and team for guiding us through the latest and greatest on EV, and special thanks to to Vanessa Trinh for having me on a fantastic panel, and for bringing such a great bunch of startups, and having conversations with loads of great founders, including Jacob van Zonneveld and Gideon van Dijk.

Looking forward to continuing the collaborations as we accelerate the decarbonization of transport and energy! Onwards to next year!

Smart charging is the way forward for California's grid, and grids everywhere.

By actively managing load in real-time and partnering with utilities, we can dewcobinse transport and energy faster: a win-win.

California is leading the way by rolling out dynamic rates and managed charging services that integrate directly into wholesale markets and @ev.energy is delighted to be enrolling each driver in pur VPP, and optimising charging to meet the utility’s and our driver’s requirements. If we get this right, we can deliver benefits across the value chain: for consumers, by saving money with every charge, charging greener and doing it simply; for utilities, by bolstering the grid; and for the environment, by helping to integrate more renewables.

Thanks to Jeff St. John at Canary Media Inc. for the coverage. #smartcharging #evs
