Nicole pursued her education at McGill University, Shantou University, and the University of Calgary, specializing in Bioresource Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy and the Environment.

Throughout her career, Nicole has held various roles such as Project E.I.T. at Calgary Board of Education, Energy Systems Analyst at Canadian Energy Systems Analysis Research (CESAR), and Mechanical Engineering Summer Student at the City of Calgary. She has also interned at General Electric, conducted research at the University of Calgary, and worked in diverse roles including landscaping, sales, and hospitality.
