EAST TO FAR EAST: NELSONSPIRIT, OXFORD UNIVERSITY, AND THAILAND. This week I was honoured to have been asked to teach and guest-tutor on the Oxford-NBI Advanced Executive Programme in Leadership and Management. The programme hosted by Kellogg College, University of Oxford was for 30+ leaders and managers from Thailand, through the Nation Building Institute of Thailand.   I led 2 sessions: one on “Leadership and social enterprise - how to build a community”, using the Nelsonspirit Crew as a case study. The other was “Growing future leaders”, looking at the Nelsonspirit future leaders programmes we have in Norfolk.   I also supported Dr Peter Hinton with his work in Africa on social impact and the funding of low cost schools, defining leadership and social enterprise and impact internationally.   I was particularly pleased that our future leaders work received this international recognition. So well done Mollie Speed, Jacob Eke-Cunis, Zoe Hubbard, Lucia Gamble, Fifi Sweeting, Peri Ulgen, Matthew Prior, Kieran Sparkes and Connor Chapman.   Especially well done to Charlotte Pounder and Evie Witte who have designed and led these programmes and great to see the work which started in Norfolk being showcased at the University of Oxford and now inspiring leaders and future leaders around the world.
