Nii-Quartelai Quartey is a trusted strategic partner and community advocate dedicated to fostering a fair and just society, with a focus on inclusion.

Currently serving as the Senior Advisor and National LGBT Liaison at AARP, Nii-Quartelai collaborates with multicultural leadership to execute robust strategies across various business units.

In his role, he promotes AARP's strategic issues, priorities, programs, and activities by working closely with colleagues at the state and national levels.

Previously, as the National Strategic Partnerships Manager for the 'Voices for Healthy Kids' Initiative, Nii-Quartelai played a key role in creating national coalitions to combat childhood obesity and address related public policy challenges.

His journey in activism started at the age of 13, organizing for Oprah Winfrey's Angel Network campaign in partnership with Boys and Girls Club of America, leading to national recognition on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show.'

Nii-Quartelai holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a Minor Degree in Critical Approaches to Leadership from the University of Southern California, as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Social Entrepreneurship & Change from Pepperdine University.

Presently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University, with past speaking engagements at prestigious institutions like Harvard, Columbia, and USC.
