Science has a way of really inspiring awe and wonder. Here’s an incredible nugget:

The early universe was almost entirely composed on hydrogen and helium. These elements formed large gas clouds that eventually condensed and at a point the gravity and pressure ignited a fusion reaction. Stars were born. These early stars started fusing hydrogen and helium into higher elements. Eventually these stars at the end of their life exploded creating supernovas and ejected these higher elements into the universe. This ejected material created the next generation of stars and planets. At least one of those planets was capable of creating life - creating us.

The elements in our body are traceable to those early stars. This is a way we are connected to the universe. It is easy to loose sight of that in our day to day hustle. We tend to obsess over small things while missing the bigger picture. We are literally made of stars. There is a grandeur in this view of life. It is capable of giving meaning and purpose to what we do while we continue with our daily life.

As a kid, this exposure to science, astronomy and space really had a transformative effect on me. I was influenced by the likes of Carl Sagan, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Jayant Naralikar and many others. I feel in spite of how easily knowledge is accessible today, curating it in a way that inspires awe is missing. We’ve tried to do that with our Space Exploration Summer Camp course. If you have a child aged 4 to 12 years, you’ll love what we have created. I can assure you that kids will gain a sense of awe and wonder. We’re already completed 3 super successful batches. The next ones start on May 20th and June 3rd.
