Highlights
Andddd we're back! After an incredible summer hanging with my family and community, working with the wonderful Regina Ross, PHR, PCC at Khan Academy and Joshua Biber at Toolbox Foundation, and literally running around different parts of the Bay Area, I'm excited to be re-joining McKinsey & Company!
I'm more excited than ever to learn everything I can to hopefully take back to the places and spaces I care most about--public schools! Until then, I'll be looking for other ways to support our students (like running the TCS New York City Marathon with Success Academy Charter Schools!). Join me if you can!
Back for round two at Harvard Business School but I'm still thinking about the incredible learning experience I had at McKinsey & Company this summer! Huge shoutout to Marius Westhoff, Mallory Smith, and Harry A. Johnson Jr. who took me under their wing and supported me in continuing to work towards improving educational equity outcomes in the United States.
Up next: I'll be joining Desmos as an EdTech MBA Fellow where I'll get to learn from and work with the incredible Norie Pride-Womack! Desmos is on a mission to help every student learn math and love learning math. Math education is a staple of educational equity, and I can't wait to support their mission (especially as a former teacher who loved teaching math)!
Onwards and upwards!
