The most surprising learning in my career so far is experiencing how great leaders build teams into a 'work family'. I used to feel that it is impossible. Now, I'd say it is far from the norm, but it is damn effective and rewarding when you find it! I believe that we're all looking to grow, but the imposter syndrome is strong and hard to overcome. I found that I learn MUCH FASTER by being part of a team that focuses on building trust, proactively supporting each other, and pushes/motivates each member to learn and stretch. Outcomes and high-performance matter, but the way to get there isn't just setting higher OKRs. I've found that it's actually more about building connection -- having those team BBQs or remote cooking competitions, always being there to help prepare for that next presentation, actively building relationships, and supporting each other even outside of work. I've been blessed with leaders and a team that built that environment. What I learned in our team helped me get married, build stronger connections with my family, and set much higher standards for myself in career and life. This is NOT what I expected, but now that I've experienced it - I know this to be the way to build truly amazing teams. And we did all that while completely changing the role that healthcare tech plays in how caregivers provide the best care for the most vulnerable population. We're also growing our work family! :) If a team environment like this resonates with you, check out our job posting - https://lnkd.in/dpCmdzMN Product Management | Technology | Platform | Healthcare
