Nina has an impressive track record of accomplishments including leading initiatives in the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, securing funding, managing multi-million budgets, overseeing teams of senior staff, and ensuring quality and timely project implementation and reporting.

Her expertise extends to thematic areas such as conflict and post-conflict settings, poverty-related vulnerability, natural disasters, and migration, with experience in countries like Russia, Afghanistan, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, among others.

She has also played pivotal roles in strategic reviews, public engagement, fundraising, and advocacy efforts, demonstrating her commitment to promoting accountability, gender equality, and inclusion in humanitarian work.

Having held key positions within the Swedish Red Cross, Nina has served as a Disaster Management Advisor, Regional Representative for Asia & Pacific, Head of Desk for Southeast & East Asia, and Disaster Management Coordinator for Europe, Asia, and the Pacific, showcasing her versatile skills and leadership capabilities.
