🌟 Deep breath. 🌟
$10 Million donated directly to dozens of nonprofits. When I joined Lemonade 5 years ago, our most recent Giveback had been $160K. I never imagined that one day, we would be talking about numbers of this magnitude – and impacting hundreds of thousands of lives.
As we approached this year’s #Giveback, I spent a lot of time reflecting on the best way to celebrate Lemonade’s incredible impact in a time when so many are in need.
What stands out the most to me is this: Lemonade's philanthropic model – baked into the business from day one – truly works.
In just 8 years, we've planted 300,000 #trees, built homes for 52,000 people, supplied meals for 600,000 people, and provided clean #water for 40,000 people.
This year alone, we donated over $2M to nonprofits, pushing our total contributions to over $10M to date.
Despite everything, the Lemonade Giveback model remains steadfast. Impact first, always.
