Niove Theoharides is an accomplished educator with a New York State Initial Teacher Certification in English to Speakers of Other Languages for K-12 students.

Recipient of the Teachers of Tomorrow (TOT) Program for three consecutive years: 2015, 2016, and 2017, recognizing her commitment to the field of education.

Selected as a TeachNYC Select Recruit, being part of the top 5% of aspiring teachers for the 2014-2015 school year by the New York City Department of Education.

Fluent in Spanish and Greek, enhancing her ability to connect with diverse student populations.

Her educational background includes a Master of Arts (M.A.) in TESOL K-12 from Teachers College of Columbia University, a B.A. in International Relations with a focus on Spanish from Tufts University, and coursework at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

With a rich organizational history, Niove has served in various roles such as an ENL Co-Teacher, ESL Student Teacher, Substitute Teacher, Health Literacy Teacher, ELL Paraprofessional, AmeriCorps member, Research Intern, Volunteer grant writer, International Recruiting Intern, and Assistant Kindergarten Teacher, showcasing her versatility and dedication to education.

Additionally, she has interned at institutions like Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, The Commission for Democracy and Reconciliation in SouthEast Europe, and the admissions office of Tufts University.

Her passion for education and diverse experiences make her a valuable asset in the field of language instruction and educational development.
