Nira Shah is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the mental health field.

She studied M.A., Ed.M., Psychological Counseling at Columbia University in the City of New York, B.S., Psychology at Penn State University, and General education in a Study abroad program at the National University of Singapore.

Nira has held various roles in different organizations, showcasing her expertise and commitment to mental health and well-being.

Currently, she is the Psychotherapist and Owner at Sia Wellness Mental Health Counseling PLLC, where she provides counseling services to support individuals' mental wellness.

Previously, Nira gained experience as a Psychotherapist & Yoga Instructor at Therapy Brooklyn, Senior Prevention LMHC at New Alternatives For Children, and Associate Protection Officer at UNHCR.

She has also worked as a Best Interest Determination (Child Protection) Specialist at RSC Africa, US Refugee Admissions Program, Field Team Leader/Caseworker at RSC Africa, US Refugee Admissions Program, and Intake Specialist/Clinical Coordinator at Parallax Center.
