Highlights
I’m part of a CEO WhatsApp Group
Today, we talked about employee monitoring technologies.
Are they a responsible management tool, an invasion of privacy, or a waste of time?
There were several different perspectives, but for me, it comes down to one thing: how you want to manage people.
Manage by outcomes & objectives or manage by activities & “butts in seats”.
Because you can’t do both.
Brett A. Hurt, one of my mentors, advised me a few years ago, that if you go remote first - you have to go all in on OKRs.
He taught me that as a CEO, I win or lose based on whether my team hits objectives.
Not by whether they meet a count of hours at the keyboard.
I was speaking with a big pharma exec last week, and I asked her if they are investing in AI to be innovative or if they actually expect results.
After all, her CEO was on record the previous week saying he wants his company to be "the first biopharma company powered by AI at scale"
I fully expected her to say it’s a leadership mandate to explore AI.
She didn’t.
She believes that if she doesn’t push her team and her leaders, she’ll be left behind.
She expects AI to actually result in “efficiency and speed” for the business, not last year’s “experimentation and learning.”
She sees competitors starting to use AI at scale every day, moving from pilots to broad rollouts.
And so she asked me where she should start....
My recommendation was simple: start with AI for sales.
To bring this recommendation to life, we're partnering with the smart minds at ZS to unpack an AI enablement framework for your sales force.
Come learn how Quantified.ai and ZS are proving sales behavior and revenue results from AI programs.
