Nolan Lienhart is a seasoned urban strategist and the Director of Planning and Urban Design at ZGF Architects.

With a rich educational background including a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Geography from Colgate University, Nolan brings a diverse skill set to his role.

During his time at ZGF Architects, spanning 15 years, Nolan has led significant projects such as the Broadway Corridor Central City Master Plan in Portland and the Interstate Bridge Replacement Project.

His expertise in navigating technical, community, and political landscapes has made him a trusted advisor to clients in the public and private sectors alike.

Prior to his current position, Nolan served as a Legislative Assistant to Congressman Earl Blumenauer, showcasing his interest in public service and policy.

Nolan Lienhart excels in fostering relationships, understanding and incorporating owners' and communities' visions, and collaborating across various technical disciplines to drive inclusive placemaking and sustainable development.
