Nomsa Fulbrook-Kagwe is a dedicated ESG practitioner with a focus on social performance management, working closely with Fund Managers and private sector companies in emerging markets. Her areas of expertise include agribusiness, infrastructure, renewables, manufacturing, and extractives, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.

With a rich background in investment screening, due diligence, and monitoring, Nomsa's technical proficiency extends to various social issues such as labor conditions, community development, social investment, resettlement, community health and safety, risk analysis, and stakeholder engagement planning. Prior to her roles at CDC Group and consultancy, she contributed significantly to Unilever's Sustainable Agriculture Programme.

Nomsa Fulbrook-Kagwe holds an MSc in Environmental Technology with a focus on Environmental Economics, Policy, and Ecological Management from Imperial College London. She also obtained a BSc in Biological Sciences with expertise in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Genetics, and Biochemistry from the University of Warwick.

In her professional journey, Nomsa has served in key roles such as ESG Executive at CDC Group plc, Senior Consultant at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, Social Development Consultant at AECOM, and Sustainable Agriculture Consultant at Unilever, showcasing her diverse experience and commitment to sustainable practices.
