Nora Cottille-Foley

Nora Cottille-Foley is an Associate Professor of French in the School of Modern Languages at Georgia Institute of Technology. She joined the faculty in 1998 and became an Associate Professor in 2004.1 Dr. Cottille-Foley received her PhD in French/Francophone Studies from Northwestern University.1

At the national level, she serves on the Board of Directors of the SPFFA (Société des Professeurs Français et Francophones d'Amérique) and is the Editor-in-Chief of the peer-reviewed journal Nouvelles Francographies.1

Dr. Cottille-Foley has been involved in developing the use of technology in and outside the classroom, including student video production, live webcam interaction between students in the US and France, and creating online classes for the School of Modern Languages.1

She received the Junior Faculty Teaching Award in 2003 from the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning at Georgia Institute of Technology and The BP Foundation.1
