🎓✨ It’s truly a privilege to return to school and continue learning! I'm happy to share that I’ve successfully completed the MC/MPA Summer Program at Harvard Kennedy School. This immersive experience has been a pivotal step in my journey, setting the foundation for what promises to be an enriching and transformative academic year ahead.
I'm deeply grateful to all my professors, with special thanks to Prof. Anup Pujari in Economics and Prof. Jimena Romero in Quantitative Methods, whose dedication has rekindled my love for these subjects. 📊📈 I also participated in the Candid & Constructive Conversations, which fosters openness, respect, and humility. Honing skills to engage with diverse perspectives, navigate difficult topics, and constructively disagree—essential competencies for effective leadership and policymaking. 💬🤝
A major highlight of the program was the Policy, Analysis, and Communications Exercises. In International Climate Policy & Negotiation, we dove deep into the intricacies of global climate negotiations, applying negotiation theory to one of the world’s most critical issues—climate change. 🌍🌱 In Artificial Intelligence & Policy Analysis, we explored the intersection of AI and policy, learning how to leverage generative AI for effective policy development and communication. 🤖📊 And in Navigating Inequality & OpEds, we tackled the roots of systemic inequalities and honed our skills in persuasive writing, crafting impactful OpEds that can drive meaningful change. ✍️💡
However, the true highlight of this experience has been the incredible cohort of 258 students from 65 countries. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting 70% of them, and I am deeply inspired, humbled, and honored by their professional achievements, but even more so by their personal stories that often go untold. I was deeply touched by the recognition at the closing ceremony and was especially happy to have made it to the top of the leaderboard as the most active member of the community! I look forward to building lifelong friendships, engaging in enriching classroom discussions, and sharing ideas as we tackle the world’s challenges together. 🌍🙌
Throughout this intensive program, I've had the opportunity to renew my analytic, conceptual, and study skills, build meaningful connections with my classmates and instructors, and identify my strengths and goals. The program's blend of coursework and extracurricular activities has not only prepared me for the challenges and opportunities to come but has also reignited my passion for climate and energy transition. 🌍🔋
As I look forward to the months ahead, I'm excited to embrace new perspectives, push boundaries, and balance my professional aspirations with personal growth. This is one step closer to the finish line, and I couldn't be more honored to be on this path with such an incredible community. 🚀📚
