Nurul Huda Padulli is a legal professional with a comprehensive background in managing a diverse portfolio of legal issues. She began her career at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) as a Legal Adviser for the Asia Pacific region in 2014, later progressing to the role of Senior Legal Adviser at the Geneva headquarters in 2019.

Prior to her time at IFRC, Nurul worked as an editor at the Dutch publishing house, Wolters Kluwer, and served as an Associate at Messrs. Shook Lin & Bok, the oldest law firm in Malaysia, focusing on general and civil litigation.

Nurul Padulli holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Maritime Law from the National University of Singapore, complemented by Bachelor's degrees in Law and Legal Studies from Universiti Teknologi MARA. She also completed her GCE 'O' Levels at Tanjong Katong Girls' School.

Her professional interests revolve around human rights, public international law, and maritime law. Notably, she is a member of the Malaysian Bar and the author of a published article in the Malayan Law Journal titled 'A Welcomed Change: Section 10(2a) of the Arbitration Act 2005 -- Retention of Arrest of Ships for Arbitration.'
