Nyaradzayi Gumbonzvanda is a global thought leader specializing in economic and social justice, human rights, and peace, with a strong focus on championing women's human rights and gender equality through innovative inter-generational leadership strategies, community engagement, and transformative initiatives.

She actively supports social justice causes worldwide through civil society initiatives and community philanthropy, fostering strategic partnerships and alliances to increase investments in social justice, particularly targeting women and young people.

Nyaradzayi Gumbonzvanda's thematic interests revolve around governance, peace, human rights, and health. She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Private Law from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) with a focus on Constitutional and Customary Law from the University of Zimbabwe.

Throughout her career, she has held key positions in renowned organizations, including Chair of the AAI Board & Federation at ActionAid International, Goodwill Ambassador for Ending Child Marriage at African Union Commission in Addis Ababa, and Founder and CEO of the Rozaria Memorial Trust.

Additionally, she has served as Commissioner for Information and Accountability for Women and Children's Health at the United Nations, General Secretary at World YWCA, Regional Programme Director at UNIFEM, Human Rights Officer at UNICEF, and Interim Coordinator at the Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association.
