How's life? What is present for you right now? Are you still breathing?

As I am starting work after summer break, I catch myself holding my breath. Looking at my todo list. Wondering how and what is the most important. How silence and rest seem to be at the bottom of the list and I don't feel space to go for a walk and ask the trees for some advice.

Are you still breathing?

Maybe these times call for something different. Maybe we need to slow down instead of move faster. Maybe we need to listen instead of speak. Maybe we need to do all of that together instead of alone at our desks.

Because if we don't we might never find ways to stop doing what we are doing and discover new ways of being in the world.

Come join me and Simon Hodges for a weekend of listening.

To yourself To story To nature To life

Return to belonging is a weekend filled with what we know and are. Nature, story and ritual.

This was the forest lake yesterday. The frogs welcoming us. It’s been a while since we were here at the Holtingerveld in Drenthe.

It was beautiful.

Feeling connected. Just listening. Wondering what the frogs were singing to us. What’s the story they tell? How can I be of service to them?

Asking these questions seems small. But I believe they are essential. If we don’t start listening, how can we know what our world needs?

How can we meet the land around us? How can we increase our belonging to it?

This November I will be facilitating a weekend of connecting to land with Simon Hodges.

We will work with story, ritual and the land itself.

I am looking forward to sharing this land with you.
