🎾 🍿 HOW TO ACE PROFESSIONAL INTERVIEW ENG/UKR ⤵ I wanted to share some tips on how to prepare for professional interviews.
First and foremost: You need to prepare! 😎 This can be as simple as looking up on LinkedIn the name of the person in meeting invite to know better their role, and responsibilities. See what they post, engage with it, and add them to your contacts. It’s always better to establish a personal connection, even if your relationship doesn’t progress beyond.
Second: Ask the recruiter. Once the interview is scheduled, ask "What should I prepare for? What kind of questions will be? General or purely technical? Will there be a live coding session? What is the usual interview atmosphere (more formal or relaxed)?"
If the company is large, questions can be found on the Glassdoor company page -look for Interviews Questions and filter by the job title.
Third: Prepare questions for the interviewer. Sometimes asking the right questions in a professional interview can be a real game-changer.
Fourth: If you need to stand out from other candidates, create a short presentation - visualize main career milestones, and achievements, highlight important details, and most importantly, demonstrate to your potential manager that you are highly motivated and ready to go the extra mile. When asked, "Tell us a little more about your experience," you can say, "Let me share my screen and just show it to you."
Have you done any of this? Did it work?
