Omar Khalid is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biochemistry. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from California State University-Fullerton. Additionally, he has a Minor in Mathematics from California State University-Fullerton.

Omar has a diverse research background, including a Research Internship at the Proteomics Core Facility focusing on Proteomic analysis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He has leveraged his academic credentials to secure various roles in prestigious organizations.

During his career, Omar has held key positions in notable institutions. He was the Director of Translational Research Informatics at City of Hope, a Staff Scientist at DxTerity, a Staff Scientist at CHOC Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and has served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at both the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of Southern California.
