I'm not very active on LinkedIn, and certainly not around things personal. Recent events in Israel have changed that, and I hope this post reaches as many people as possible.

On October 7th, I left my then 5 month pregnant wife to join my team in the Army and defend my country from Hamas-Isis, a terrorist organization whose sole purpose is to kill Jews and destroy Israel.

My team initially deployed to Kfar Aza, a community nearby the Gazan border where Hamas-Isis committed terrible atrocities. Things so sadistic and barbaric that the no person with a millimeter of a moral compass could comprehend.

Completely innocent civilians, of all ages, massacred.

Babies killed and decapitated.

Entire families burned alive.

Kids with limbs cut off, left to bleed out and die.

Women violently raped and shot in the head.

A pregnant woman, shot to death, with her stomach slit open and her unborn baby stabbed to death.

A baby, burned to death in an oven. Let that sink in. A baby, baked alive in an oven.

What kind of sick, sadistic, barbaric animals are capable of this? You need to understand that these things happened. This is real. This is the evil we're dealing with.

What baffles me is that it hasn't even been a month since over a thousand Israelis were butchered in cold blood, and the international community is quick to turn on Israel.

New York Times blames Israel for a Hamas-Isis rocket misfire that killed dozens of innocent Palestinians in Gaza with no fact checking whatsoever.

Videos surfaced of Ivy league college students tearing down posters of babies, children, and elderly kidnapped and held hostage in Gaza by Hamas-Isis. College protesters shouting "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" without having the slightest clue of what that actually implies. Some actually call the brutalities of Hamas "resistance". One video shows a portestor calling October 7th a "glorious" day. How one can justify the beheading of a baby is beyond me.

Videos of violent protests in Europe with Hamas flags, swastikas, and chants of "death to Jews" and "gas the Jews".

There's one thing I've come to realize since this war broke out - Jews aren't safe anywhere, and the world likes it when we're weak.

Israel is the only country we have, and myself, alongside many many others, will make sure that it stays that way. We won't, and never will be weak.

In the Holocaust 6 million Jews were slaughtered, just because they were Jewish.

After the Holocaust we said - "never again".

After October 7th, 2023, we are forced to say this again.

Never again.

Am Israel Chai 🇮🇱

**In the picture, a selfie I sent to my wife after my team pulled out of Kfar Aza. The other picture I sent her was of my wedding ring. It kept me strong, and it it was a subtle reminder of why I do what I do.
