Omri Gazitt is a seasoned technology executive with over 30 years of experience in building systems and infrastructure software for developers and operators.

He is the co-founder and CEO of Aserto, an authorization startup, and has held key leadership roles at industry giants like Puppet, HP, and Microsoft.

During his tenure at Microsoft, Omri played pivotal roles in the development of Azure AppFabric, Azure Access Control Service, SQL Server, Application Server, and was one of the co-founders of .NET.

As a prolific open-source contributor, Omri has actively contributed to projects like OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, and various CNCF projects. Aserto, under his leadership, maintains the Topaz and OPCR open source projects.

In addition to his technical contributions, Omri has been actively involved in standardization efforts, particularly in the authorization space, currently co-chairing the OpenID AuthZEN initiative.

Omri Gazitt holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Rice University.
