Throughout his career, O'Neil Outar held prominent positions in various organizations, including Executive Vice President of Advancement at The Greater Boston Food Bank, Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Rhode Island School of Design, Interim Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement at the University of Pittsburgh, Senior Associate Dean and Director of Development at Harvard University, and Chief Advancement Officer at The University of Alberta, among others.

He has also worked at MIT and Tufts University, holding multiple roles such as Director of Fund for Arts, Sciences, and Engineering, Major Gifts Officer, and Admissions Counselor.

O'Neil has a strong foundation in educational management, organizational change, and public policy, making him a versatile professional in the field of fundraising and advancement.
