"No matter where you are on your journey, that's exactly where you need to be. The next road is always ahead" (Oprah Winfrey)

Tomorrow is my last day at Hi Auto, bringing 3.5 years to a close. It's been such a crazy and meaningful ride. I will not try to summarize highlights and lowlights since it’s been quite the journey. I have many memories flash before my eyes as I sit to write this post.

Back in January 2021, I was a new mom to a 4.5-month-old. I decided not to return to my previous position after 4 years and decided to try my luck in the hi-tech industry (living in TA, after all...) I had only been "on the market" for 2-3 weeks when I saw the opportunity at Hi Auto for the operations and customer success manager. 5 days, 2.5 interviews later - They made an offer.

I didn’t really know how I was going to pull it off. Having no nanny and being so sleep deprived as I was. My friends kept saying “going into a startup is insane. It’s 24/7. How will you do it?” But Roy Baharav said, do what you can for the first month and we’ll figure it out”. And my mom said, “if they’re this flexible, take it. We'll help you”. And so I did.

My gut felt it was a good opportunity so I trusted it. Always trust your gut. When something excites you but also scares you a bit, it may just be the next opportunity.

Many (many) months, projects, terrific team members who've become friends and work trips later, I have decided to listen to my gut again and trust it when it said it’s time to leave.

Thank you Roy Baharav and Eyal Shapira for taking a leap of faith, believing in me and giving me my first opportunity in the tech industry. I have been challenged to step out of my comfort zone many times and create an amazing sustainable, remote organization which is such a vital pillar of success. Thank you for for setting an example for hard work and dedication. I will keep rooting for your success from the side bench 😊

Thank you Naama Cohen for being the best colleague and then such an amazing mentor. Really. I have learned so much. I KNOW that we will keep in touch!

Tomer Katz Shanee Peleg Pavel Yudilevich Liat Danieli Itai Hay Itamar Eizik Adam Nitzan Adam Raizen Eze Fiszerman Hillel Nitzan Sam Rosenbaum vitaly karablin Donna Peters Daniel Dreymann Samantha Spiwak - thank you for your friendship. It isn't a given in a workplace, but it's so awesome when it's there. You are truly awesome and I know I'll miss working with you.

There are additional members of my teams who aren't tagged but know who they are and how much I appreciate them and feel proud of their success ❤️

"Faith is taking the first step, even when you don’t see the whole staircase” (MLK) I don't know exactly where I'm heading to next, but I'm excited about it. I will do my best to keep challenging myself and aim high 🌄
