Orest Holubec

EVP/chief communication officer, Providence; Board Member, Catholic Health Association

Orest Holubec is the Chief Communication Officer at Providence, overseeing national communication and external affairs, media relations, crisis communication, reputation management, social media strategy, and more.

With a background in healthcare communication, Orest previously served as the Director of External Communication for Mercy Health in Ohio and as the Communication Director and Press Secretary for Ohio Governor Bob Taft.

He has led communication strategies for political campaigns and held communication leadership roles for the Ohio Legislature and the Ohio Secretary of State's office.

Orest is a board member for the Catholic Health Association and the Seattle Science Foundation, and he holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from John Carroll University and a Master's in Clinical Ethics from both Georgetown University and the Catholic University of America.
