Highlights
I'm on the lookout for a superstar Partner Manager to help build our channel play from the ground up.
We're going to recruit this one in house so no agency support required at this time.
Role probably won't be a fit for:
- Someone with no experience in Cybersecurity channel partnerships.
- Someone looking to build from a pre-existing platform and take it to the next level.
- Someone very focused on one part of the partner funnel (eg. activation or enablement).
- Someone looking for a defined scope with all the tooling / operational setup to go with it.
- Someone who hasn't done the startup journey before.
However, if you are:
- Looking for a big challenge with massive potential outcomes.
- Confident that you've seen a great partner programme and think you build an even better one.
- Wanting to get your hands dirty and own every aspect of the partner journey.
- Looking to work with a very talented team with big ambitions.
Then perhaps we should talk. Adding more of the rough Job Spec in the comments (but tl;dr it's probably 70% tactical GSD / 30% strategic Big Picture to begin with).
Any referrals from the great partnerships/channel experts I've worked with (Erleta Lenjani Stan Massueras Catherine B. Thomas Disney Thomas Le Cun Teddy Ludmer Irina Anichshuk Peter Neill Darryl Fleming CISSP Jack Rothwell Barney Dixon) most welcome!
If you're a company that values ticking security checkboxes over actually creating a security conscious culture, you should do 1 of 2 things:
- Tell that to your customers.
If you're not willing to do that:
- Give your security team a seat at the table.
