What an experience! I had the privilege to lead communications in Neste’s #COP28 project. Together with my amazing colleagues Linda Mankki, Sami Jauhiainen and Päivi Makkonen, we arranged two successful events, had many speaking engagements and met multiple partners and other important stakeholders.
As the first-timer, my key COP28 takeaways are 🌍 We need actions over words. In order have positive climate impact, we need to act now - and both private and public sector is needed. 🤝 No one can do the systemic change alone. COP28 provides a great opportunity to engage, build connections and have valuable discussions with partners and other stakeholders. ✈️ In COP28, we saw that our story is of interest. Neste provides its customers and partners with low-emission solutions to the world's most pressing sustainability challenges. 🗒️ Plan, schedule, be active and join forces - this is the way to get the biggest business benefits. 👟 Wear comfortable shoes, sleep well before COP and find out where’s the best coffee.
