Agrocorp is one of our Singapore traders trading in grains and pulses like peas, lentils and flax seeds. They will buy these from farmers, process them and sell them to other enterprises. To do this well, they source from all over the world.
And they are here in Innisfail, Canada - 1.5 hours drive from Calgary.
Their processing facility here will buy the produce from farmers, process them, transport them via rail to the port in Vancouver and ship them to as far as China.
Our Singapore traders are involved in the entire supply chain of sourcing, processing, transporting, and marketing to consumers. It requires great entrepreneurial spirit to invest and operate facilities globally. Go Singapore enterprises!

Am in Calgary, Canada this week. Once in the city, you will see many Singapore e-scooters. Yes, Singapore designs and produces e-scooters for the world even as we don’t have them in Singapore.
Neuron Mobility is a Singaporean company which manufactures, supplies and manages e-scooters for cities in countries as far as Australia and Canada. It is not just simply putting the e-scooters in the city. They have to ensure, through technology, that the scooters slow down automatically in the pedestrian areas, not go beyond the city boundaries through geofencing, and have sensors to know if the scooters have toppled. So a real science to this business.
