Pallavi Prathivadi

Dr. Pallavi Prathivadi is a dedicated General Practitioner and a final year PhD Candidate in the Department of General Practice at Monash University.

Her research focuses on enhancing safe opioid prescription practices in primary care settings to facilitate evidence-based pain management for both doctors and patients.

As a Fulbright Future scholar, she enriched her academic journey at Stanford University School of Medicine between 2020 and 2021.

Dr. Prathivadi has received prestigious recognitions including the 2019 RACGP National Registrar of the Year and the 2018 EVGP (co) Registrar of the Year titles.

Her educational background includes a diverse range of qualifications such as a Diploma of Child Health, a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine, a Master of Medicine in Pain Management, a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery, and a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours.

She has gained professional experience at various esteemed institutions including MedCentral Knox Medical Centre, Monash University, Berwick Healthcare, Doctors@Knox, The Mercy Hospital For Women, Northern Health, St Vincent's Health, The Peter Mac.Callum Cancer Centre, and has served as an Intern at Northern Health.
