Pamela Marie Godoy [UNFPA] is a professional with a strong background in coordinating and leading capacity building activities in Asia and the Pacific region to enhance the support for GBV survivors and individuals at risk.

She holds a diverse educational background including a MasterTrack Certificate in Social Work from the University of Michigan, a Diploma in Social Work, a Master's Degree in Communication, and a Bachelor of Science in Development Communication from the University of the Philippines.

Currently, Pamela serves as the Regional Emergency Gender-based Violence Coordination Specialist for Asia and the Pacific at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Previously, she has held roles such as Gender-based Violence/GBV in Emergencies Technical Specialist and GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE TECHNICAL SPECIALIST at UNFPA.

Her focus lies in organizing capacity building initiatives to empower GBV coordinators and partners at national and sub-national levels, ensuring they can deliver effective care that respects the needs, rights, and dignity of GBV survivors and those vulnerable to such situations.
