Patricia Chang

Associate Director - West Area Data Planning

Patricia Chang is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in wireless network management and optimization across various network functions.

In her role as Associate Director of West Area Data Planning at Verizon Wireless, she oversees Voice over LTE, Data Optimization, Core 3G and 4G networks, and manages the data budget for the West Area region.

Prior to her current position, Patricia served as the Northern California Regional Switching Engineering Manager where she successfully led the San Francisco to Fairfield Switch Cut project and facilitated the launch of the LTE network.

Before her regional role, she held a key position in HQ Network Planning focusing on CDMA and LTE core network equipment, including MSC, PDSN/HA, MME, PGW, and vendor management.

With an impressive intellectual property background, Patricia holds 11 patents and has over 20 patents awaiting approval.

Patricia's educational background includes executive education at Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from New York University, and studies at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
