One of the male founders I’m coaching told me something that left me absolutely gobsmacked.

He said he delayed reaching out for help because  when he mentioned needing coaching to his friends…

They thought he was telling a really funny joke.

Like, actually laughed out loud.

I don’t get it.

What’s so funny about getting the support you need to keep your business running and your sanity intact?

Because I’ll tell you right now:

Head down, butt up?  Not a sustainable strategy.

I hear from women founders all the time—open,  ready, and willing to tackle their challenges head-on.

But men? They seem to hold back.

👉 Is it because they think coaching isn’t for them?  👉 Or are they afraid of looking “less capable”?

Well, here’s a truth bomb:

Every successful founder I know  (yes, even the men) didn’t do it all alone.

So dear men,

I say this sincerely, but... there’s nothing funny about running a business on fumes.

And coaching? It isn’t about fixing something broken.

It’s about growth, support, and navigating the hard stuff with clarity and confidence.

And trust me,

No one ever regrets having the right support.

P.S. Do you agree women are quicker to ask for help than men?

They asked if I was scared, but honestly?

The runway was the least scary thing I’ve done in my life.

Growing up, our household always valued intellect over appearance. So, even when modeling opportunities knocked on my door...

I wasn’t encouraged to pursue them,  and I understood it was silly.

I chose the path that was expected of me.

✔️ The one that promised respect and admiration. ❌ And I didn’t want to be seen as just a pretty face.

But now,

After years of building my career,

I decided to give that door a second look.

Because...

I owe it to my inner child. To that little girl  ↳ who once dreamed of something different.

It’s funny—people assume that embracing beauty means sacrificing intelligence, as if the two can’t coexist.

I’ve resisted it for so long,

I feared being perceived as less capable.

But I’m not worried anymore.

I’ve learned that...

What’s meant for me won’t pass me by. And right now, this moment feels just right.

So here’s to embracing all parts of ourselves—

✔️ The smart, ✔️ The brave, & ✔️ The beautiful,

So, little Patricia,

This one’s for you. I hope you are proud. ❤️

Because... I’ve finally learned to be proud of you.

P.S. I recently signed a contract with a modeling agency for women over 50+. So coach, board member, and now… unemployed model. Haha!

P.P.S. Are you jumping at opportunities that make your inner child proud?
