Highlights
Still buzzing from peak SF last week with the return of the RSA Conference (IMO the best one yet), getting ~150 Founders from the CyberSeed community together IRL at the SVB Experience Center, and also taking a brief break from cyber events to spend time with the current LAUNCH Accelerator cohort along with Jason Calacanis and Jacqui Deegan at the inimitable Bucks of Woodside following pitch sessions at Sequoia Capital.
I’d say SF is back, but in reality I think it never got close to relinquishing its place as the top startup ecosystem in the world. 🚀
Also…replace “SF” with “SVB” and that statement is equally true. As the best Founders and Investors continue experiencing, with the support of First Citizens Bank, we’ve retained close to 85% of our commercial bank team (~1,500 tech bankers) making us far and away the largest and most experienced team in the market, and remain active and hungry with the same people, solutions, GTM approach, culture, and commitment to Founders (at the earliest stages!) that have always set us apart and continue to do so.
Did I mention we’ve also hired a couple hundred amazing new SVBers over the past year as we keep leveling up our team? (great opportunity to join our stellar NY team here: https://lnkd.in/ewTFD4kv). Much more to come!
