Highlights
I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Senior Client Partner at The Second City! Looking forward to adding my jokes and skills to the mix!
I do not post a lot on LinkedIn. Recently, I have learned from the inspiring (and motivating) posts of my former colleague and current Yaymaker Matthew Rolnick 💡 (he/him), that I should post more.
So, let me tell you about two jobs. One is my last job. One is my new job. Many differences. Many similarities. One key similarity is that I feel very fortunate and grateful to have landed both. The former, I have held for the past 10 years, and the current, I might have for the next 10.
I joined the WellSky team in early 2014. I had the privilege of spending 6 years supporting the work of heroes and heroines who tirelessly provide services to those experiencing homelessness. Working with inspirational leaders like Gabriel Cate and Candice Wiseman-Hacker, shoulder to shoulder with Marsha Blankenship, Beverly Patten, Charlton, Deb Petty, Matthew Peet, CSM, CSPO, Joseph Flannery, CPM, A-CSPO, Laurie Kronyak, and many more, working to make a difference in the lives of those who need help the most. #bowman4ever
For the last 4 years, I have been building partnerships with state governments, expanding the technology footprint of WellSky, to connect more and more state government payers, community providers, and qualified constituents to critical care and supports. Vince Vecchiarelli, Mitchell Morgan, MBA, Kris K., Abby Cox, John Wolf, Mike Roush, Betsy Claassen, Angela Englebert Peterson, CPACC, Keith Ewell, David Kovarik, Becki Kugler, Osa Imohe, Sarah Morrison Rapelye, Joe Beaudet, Dusty Rudicel, Jared Whitney, Michele Cioffi, Jimmy Corcoran, Aaron Winkelmann, Nate Marcus, Ed Ost, Paula Brown, Andrew Berg, Rachel Sasse, Murali K. Pillai, Jessie McNellis, Heather Eichman, Tinna Hung, David Jones, Max Wilcox, Teresa Derrow, PMP and so many more wonderful and talented people (I have exceeded the mention limit for LinkedIn), are behind these critical systems. Our success together, especially in the Northeast USA, will be something I am forever proud of.
If you do not know WellSky, don’t worry, you will. As we all age, as we prefer aging at home instead of in an institutional setting, and as we demand greater accountability and better outcomes from our healthcare providers, WellSky will be at the heart of meeting these needs. #fact (hint: they already are.)
Why would I ever leave?
Growth. Crave it. Need it. Love it.
Yes, WellSky is growing and will continue to grow at a rate its competitors will forever be jealous of, and that its owners will profit from, handsomely. But the growth I crave is in the earlier stages of a company’s story.
Let me introduce you to Leverage.
Leverage is a pre-series A, baby Unicorn. Our technology is already changing the way that American manufacturing is able to track its incoming supplies and purchase orders. Like WellSky, and Groupon before it, Leverage will become a $Billion$ company. 🦄 🚀
Check out our job board if you are looking. We are growing, and will be for some time to come.
Much Love.
