Patrick Sheng is an accomplished musician and educator with a strong academic background in Music.

Patrick Sheng holds a Master of Arts degree with a perfect 4.0 GPA in Music from Washington State University, where he also completed a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance with an Emphasis in Jazz.

Prior to his time at Washington State University, Patrick studied Music at Florida International University and completed an Associate of Arts degree at Tacoma Community College, showcasing his commitment to a well-rounded education in music.

With a wealth of experience in academia, Patrick Sheng has held key positions in various educational institutions. He is currently the Director of Instrumental Jazz Studies at Long Beach City College, where he brings his expertise to shaping the next generation of musicians.

Before his role at Long Beach City College, Patrick served as the Director of Jazz Studies and Saxophone at McNeese State University, demonstrating his leadership in music education.

Patrick has also lent his skills and knowledge as an educator in roles such as Adjunct Faculty at Clark College and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Washington State University, further solidifying his commitment to sharing his passion for music.

Additionally, Patrick Sheng has practical experience as a Showband Musician at Carnival Cruise Lines, showcasing his versatility and real-world experience in the music industry.
