Patty D. Mendoza is a dedicated social justice practitioner, higher education administrator, scholar, and student affairs specialist with an impressive academic background and diverse professional experience.

Patty pursued her education at prestigious institutions, obtaining a B.A. in Sociology and Chicanx Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.A. in Chicanx Studies from California State University-Northridge, and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Long Beach City College.

With a keen focus on empowering Latinx students, Patty has held significant roles in various organizations. She served as the Director of Alumni Network at Reality Changers and previously as the Assistant Dean and Advisor to Latinx Students at Dartmouth College.

Her commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in higher education led her to work as the Associate Director at the Center for Hispanic Excellence, La Casa Latina at the University of Pennsylvania.

During her professional journey, Patty has also been involved in supporting student initiatives like the Student Promoted Access Center for Education and Service (SPACES) Program at UC San Diego and The Preuss School UCSD, where she engaged as a Parent, Mentor, and Tutor/Inter Program Coordinator.

Furthermore, her academic expertise has been recognized through her role as an Adjunct Instructor at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, where she imparted knowledge and guidance to students.

Patty's comprehensive experience in the realms of social justice, higher education, and student affairs makes her a valuable asset to any institution or organization seeking to enhance diversity, equity, and academic support for marginalized communities.
