Anyone that knows me knows I’m fiercely loyal to my work and have always striven to make a positive difference in the world. So it was extremely difficult to make the decision to leave my friends and family at Parallel.
But when an opportunity arose for me to leave my role, go to Paris on vacation and start fresh in the new year, I had to take it. (And might have tried to throw my phone in the Fountain of the Rivers on the Place de la Concorde, in true “Devil Wears Prada” fashion).
I am thrilled to say I’m entering a field of work that I once thought I had given up on 12 years ago, healthcare! I’ll be joining the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta team in 2022! 🏥
Here’s to new beginnings, taking chances, and not accidentally destroying my phone to take these photos.

When I first came to Parallel almost 3 years ago, one of my goals was to help form the LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group. I'm beyond honored to say that goal was accomplished earlier this year in partnership with Rich Vaden, Elizabeth Conway, and Brian Kedzior when PRIDE@PARALLEL was founded.
Since that day, we've held the first in a series of company-wide LGBTQ+ panel AMA's, created donation matching opportunities for GLAAD, The Trevor Project, and OnePulse Foundation, and this week, featured LGBTQ+ employee stories for #NationalComingOutDay. (And so much more.)
I could not be prouder of this group and can't wait to see what the future holds. Thank you to Lyndsay D Bushey and all the Pride@Parallel leaders for all you do. 🏳️🌈
