The Nike Book 1 V2 launched today. Third release in this new franchise but the widest distro to date. Got me reminiscing about NBA All-Star Weekend a few weeks ago. We celebrated the global launch of this product and were loud and proud about this in the moment. Devin’s engagement with media was intimate and fun. The way he engaged consumers with surprise & delight moments made it truly memorable. We continue on the journey to bring more folks into the World of Book and change the status quo for what signature basketball looks like. Shout out to the team! Wanted to share this article about my brother, Mark Beckles MBA, ICD.D that the Toronto Star published over the weekend. Not because it highlights the incredible accolades, the global impact on youth he’s had, or the impeccable resume he boasts but because of what was said about him by others and the principles he shared that our mother instilled.

My favoirte quote - No matter how high Beckles has climbed in business and philanthropy, dining with Mandela and other leaders, he has remained grounded.

“Mark is Mark … He’s never forgotten where he came from, and he never will.”

If you know a litte about me you know I advocate for showing up everyday as yourself and try my best to represent where and what I come from. To me this quote is the highest type of honor there is.

Congrats on this well deserved recognition and thank you for leading the way. I look forward to the continued impact you have on myself and so many others. Proud is an understatement.
