Paul Cheung is the CEO of The Center for Public Integrity, leading a diverse investigative non-profit organization to combat inequality through investigative reporting and promoting accountability.

With a background in managing a $50 million investment portfolio at the Knight Foundation, Paul has experience in scaling AI, business sustainability solutions, and fighting misinformation.

Paul Cheung has over 20 years of experience in digital transformation, focusing on artificial intelligence, VR/AR, and digital training initiatives. He has led teams at prominent media outlets like NBC News Digital, The Associated Press, The Miami Herald, and The Wall Street Journal.

Aside from his professional roles, Paul is involved in various non-profit organizations such as First Draft News and News Leaders Association, working towards combating misinformation and empowering journalists. He also co-leads the Asian American Journalists Association's executive leadership program in the US and Asia.

Paul's educational background includes studies in Media Leadership at Poynter, AAJA Executive Leadership Program, Sulzberger Fellowship in Media Leadership at Columbia University, and a BA in Journalism and Sociology from New York University.
