As a venture capitalist and entrepreneur, I’ve seen terms like "impact investing," "sustainability," and "climate technology" evolve. While these concepts have good intentions, they often feel too abstract and broad. I’m excited to introduce "environmental transition" as a more tangible and actionable framework.

Environmental transition represents a systemic shift from unsustainable practices to eco-friendly and resilient systems. This isn't just a buzzword—it's a roadmap for transforming our economy and planet through specific, measurable changes in how we produce, consume, and interact with the natural world.

🚨 Election Results: A New Chapter for the UK 🚨

Today marks a significant shift in the UK's political landscape as the The Labour Party has won the election. This change reflects the considerable dissatisfaction with the previous government and signals an opportunity for meaningful change. Congratulations to Keir Starmer and his party.

Almost a decade ago, I was asked to be a The Conservative Party MP. I turned it down and chose instead to serve as a district councillor representing the local constituents of East Suffolk Council. During my term, I witnessed firsthand how dysfunctional politics can be and saw that the motivations driving some individuals to run could have been more altruistic. This experience led me to decide not to run for a second term.

While I have always identified as a conservative, the party's handling of the COVID-19 crisis and the ensuing chaos turned me away.

I am optimistic about the future as we welcome a new #government. In my current role within venture capital, focusing on innovation in food security, this shift could mean significant support for the UK's #technology sector.

The new government appears committed to bolstering food security while reducing environmental impact, which aligns closely with our work.

Exciting times are ahead for the UK, and I look forward to this new chapter's opportunities. 🌱🚀
