Paulo Casagrande is a distinguished legal professional with a robust educational background. He holds a Doctorate in Economic Law with Honors from Universidade de São Paulo, an LL.M. in Law and Economics from The University of Manchester, and an EMLE in Law and Economics from Universität Hamburg.

With a wealth of experience, Paulo has held key positions in several reputable organizations. He is currently the Partner and Head of the Antitrust Practice at Trench Rossi Watanabe, having previously worked as a Partner at Stocche Forbes Advogados, Tauil & Chequer Advogados Associado a Mayer Brown LLP, and Pereira Neto - Macedo Advogados.

Paulo Casagrande has also contributed to the academic field, serving as a Lecturer at SBDP and as a Guest Lecturer at Fundação Getulio Vargas. His expertise spans public procurement, antitrust, competition, and trade, with prior roles including Head of the Public Procurement Unit at the Ministério da Justiça and Associate in the Antitrust, Competition, and Trade Group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
