Pedro Lopes is a highly accomplished professional with an extensive background in International Relations, Conflict Resolution, and Strategic Marketing Communication.

Throughout his career, Pedro has held various prestigious positions, including President of the student union at the University of Coimbra, Founder of the B-Bright Generation, and being the first organizer of TEDx in Cabo Verde.

He has garnered experience through roles such as International Business Manager at Grupo Catarino, Project Manager at Wansati Communications, and Communications Associate at the United Nations in Cabo Verde.

Pedro's contributions have been recognized globally, as evident from awards like the 'Somos Cabo Verde' for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and being named one of the 100 Most Influential People of African Descent under 40 by MIPAD.

His commitment to youth leadership and community development is exemplified through his involvement in the Mandela Washington Fellowship, where he worked with the International Youth Foundation in the USA.

Currently, Pedro Lopes serves as the Secretary of State for Digital Economy and has been actively involved in promoting innovation and technical training in Cabo Verde.
