Throughout her career, Pei Ying has gained extensive experience in various roles related to history and culture. She is not only the Head and Co-Founder of Kontinentalist but has also lent her skills to numerous prestigious organizations, including the Asian Civilisations Museum where she worked as a Curatorial Research Assistant and Project Coordinator. Additionally, she has experience as an editor, having worked as a freelance Editor for 'Events this Week' at Trip.com, and has held various internship positions that honed her writing, research, and organizational skills.
Pei Ying’s enthusiasm for history is complemented by her diverse professional background, ranging from working as a secretarial assistant for a Member of Parliament to engaging in curatorial projects at multiple museums. Education and Achievements
Pei Ying Loh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from the National University of Singapore, where she excelled academically with a remarkable GPA of 4.29 out of 5. Her education has equipped her with the foundational knowledge and analytical skills necessary to tackle complex historical narratives. Through her studies, she has gained insights into various cultures, historical periods, and methodologies in historiography, which she applies in her current work at Kontinentalist.
In addition to her degree, Pei Ying participated in the 62nd batch of the IATSS FORUM, which took place from September to November. This program not only broadened her understanding of societal issues but also allowed her to engage with like-minded individuals passionate about making a difference in their communities.

She enjoys traveling to offbeat destinations on a budget, which often inspires her storytelling by providing fresh perspectives and experiences to draw from.
