Peter Arbogast

Peter Arbogast is the Voice of the Trojans and the Santa Monica YMCA mountain camp director.2 He is a radio announcer who has been the voice of the USC Trojans for many years, calling football, men's basketball, and women's basketball games.1 Born on December 5, 1954, Arbogast has had a long and distinguished career in sports broadcasting.1

Arbogast's primary job as of 2024 is the youth director for the Santa Monica YMCA.1 He is known for his community involvement and volunteer work, including participating in the Providence St. John's No One Dies Alone program, where he comforts terminally ill patients.3

In addition to his broadcasting career, Arbogast has won multiple awards for his radio play-by-play work, including five Southern California Sports Broadcasters radio play-by-play of the year awards between 2018 and 2023.1 He has called more USC Trojans football games on radio than any other person in history.1
