It’s Friday!... and what a positive week for purpose-driven women leaders rising on the world stage to address climate and more.

Not the first person to notice, but in case you missed it... 🇮🇸 Halla Tómasdóttir became the 7th President of Iceland. To rise, she came back from a previous election defeat (first to do so) and stepped back from being CEO of The B Team (where i worked alongside an incredible team aimed at positively impacting the Paris Agreement back in 2015 at COP21). One more woman head of state and a champion for climate and justice.

🇲🇽 Claudia Sheinbaum became the first female President of Mexico: a climate scientist who has contributed to IPCC papers, an accomplished former Mayor of Mexico City, and one of the few Jewish heads of state outside Israel (and another 1st for Mexico); she seems uniquely placed to help lead this volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous ("VUCA") world where we need to go.

🌍 And in this same week, I’ve been revisiting some powerful videos on Uncertainty & Possibility — Meeting the Climate Future with Christiana Figueres, Rebecca Solnit, and Roshi Joan Halifax. These inspiring leaders highlight the importance of finding and connecting your personal Purpose to your leadership journey and positively change the system.

We can all work on becoming better leaders, but this week pause on a Friday to celebrate how these women are leading us in the right direction. 💚 #ConnectedLeadership #ClimateLeadership #PurposeDriven #Sustainability #LeadershipJourney #ClimateChange #Inspiration
