The picture on the left is my friend, Jim Campbell, and me almost 8 years ago when we had much more hair and worked together at BNP Paribas. Chances are that if you know me well, you know Jim. Last year Jim left his cap intro role at Layton Road Group, LLC and moved with his wife, Grace, to Ecuador to continue his long-term efforts to help the orphaned and poor at missionsantamaria.com - I'm proud to serve on his board.
The picture on the right is a recent picture of Jim getting food for 100+ families after hearing a heart-wrenching story of a desperate father who had resorted to feeding limes to his children. Basically, the children were on the verge of starving. Ecuador has been one of the hardest hit countries in the world in terms of devastation from COVID-19. Jim saw that due to coronavirus lock-downs, many families are unable to work and don’t have access to food, so he's working tirelessly to get food for them.
